About Me

Me I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa and moved to Vancouver, B.C. at age 15.

Once I moved to Canada, I joined a gym and immediately fell in love with weight training. I worked part-time at the gym and it always amazed me how “lean and muscular” some of the members were. I remember wanting to look like that one day!

I was somewhat active while growing up, I started dancing at a very young age, in addition to that I briefly played netball, attempted basketball and swimming. After high school I studied a variety of Martial Arts, mainly Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and JKD.

In 1999 I travelled to South Beach, Miami and my passion for weight training grew. Shortly after, I entered my very first Fitness & Figure Show.

I have competed in several other Fitness and Figure shows and plan on competing again this year. I’m training hard so be sure to look out for me at upcoming shows. I am truly blessed to have a wonderful family and loving, supportive friends. Thanks to all of you for your wonderful emails. You continue to inspire me to be better and train harder.
